Choices
A poem of life

Treading upon the plains of life
Through twist and turns of woes
Thinking only to survive
The paths proven a foe
~~
Choices I have been given
Of good, of bad, but none of neither
Time I've stumbled and risen
Times my mind yonder and hither
~~
A proverb once said
By an unexpected wise being
"Risks taken, consequences paid,
As risks are life's seasoning"
~~
Alas! my choices obscure
To seize means to release
Clouding my heart impure
Preventing me from ease
~~
But then, I am enlightened
Clearing the choice once unclear
Fortunately I listened
To speeches by friends so dear
~~
A choice I have found...
A choice I am bound...
